(PRESS RELEASE) BERKSHIRE, 27-Jan-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — Vodafone Business has entered into a four-year strategic partnership with Centrica, the parent company of British Gas and Hive, to deliver a comprehensive suite of workplace services, connectivity and IT end-user compute solutions across the UK. Working alongside VOIS (Vodafone Intelligent Solutions) and global IT and business consulting firm CGI, the agreement will support Centrica’s operations across 80 sites and approximately 30,000 devices.

The partnership is designed to help Centrica transition from a traditional managed services model to a more flexible, data-driven enterprise. By adopting advanced technologies such as generative AI and machine learning, Centrica aims to improve productivity, streamline operations and deliver more personalised experiences for both customers and employees. The agreement also creates a foundation for new combined connectivity and energy propositions for UK customers, building on recent collaborative offers between Vodafone, British Gas and Hive.

For VOIS, the agreement represents a significant commercial milestone, following the launch of its strategic partnership with Accenture in late 2024. The deal underlines VOIS’s growing role in delivering large-scale shared operations and transformation programmes for major enterprises.

Under the terms of the agreement, Vodafone Business, supported by VOIS and CGI, will provide fixed and mobile connectivity services for Centrica’s offices and workforce nationwide. In addition, the partnership covers end-user compute services including device and user management, Microsoft Office 365, cloud services, Power Apps, support for Centrica’s ServiceNow platform, IT service desk management and deskside support. Together, these services are intended to simplify Centrica’s IT landscape, introduce greater automation and enhance both employee efficiency and customer experience.

Beyond technology delivery, the partnership includes a social impact commitment, with Vodafone supporting Centrica’s efforts to address fuel poverty through the British Gas Energy Trust. This element reflects a shared focus on delivering wider societal benefits alongside commercial and operational outcomes.

From a customer perspective, the collaboration opens the door to new integrated offers that combine connectivity and energy services. Following the successful launch of a Hive thermostat offer for Vodafone customers, Vodafone, British Gas and Hive plan to introduce additional bundled propositions aimed at creating greater value for households and shaping the future of connected energy services in the UK.

Senior leaders from all organisations highlighted the partnership as a blueprint for large-scale transformation, bringing together connectivity, IT services and automation to enable more resilient operations, stronger infrastructure and improved digital experiences for both employees and customers across the UK.
