Nord Anglia, a leading international schools organization with over 80 schools in 33 countries, serves more than 85,000 students. EQT and CPP Investments will remain shareholders through reinvestment, while Neuberger Berman joins as a new strategic partner to support the company’s growth. The partnership will focus on expanding Nord Anglia’s global footprint and enhancing its educational offerings through innovative strategies.

(PRESS RELEASE) STOCKHOLM, 21-Oct-2024 — /EuropaWire/ — Neuberger Berman Private Markets, EQT, and the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments), along with a consortium of global institutional investors, have signed definitive share purchase agreements to acquire Nord Anglia Education, a leading international schools organization, at an enterprise value of USD 14.5 billion. The transaction will see existing owners, EQT and CPP Investments, remain involved as shareholders through reinvestment and a new fund structure.

Nord Anglia operates over 80 schools across 33 countries, educating more than 85,000 students from ages 2 to 18. The organization is recognized for its personalized learning approach and exclusive global partnerships with institutions like UNICEF, MIT, Juilliard, and IMG Academy. These partnerships enhance the learning experience for students and help maintain the company’s exceptional academic standards.

Neuberger Berman joins EQT and CPP Investments as a strategic partner, aiming to drive Nord Anglia’s future growth through both organic and inorganic strategies. EQT has been involved with Nord Anglia since its initial investment in 2008, helping the organization grow from six schools to its current global presence.
