(PRESS RELEASE) ESPOO, 10-Apr-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — Metso has expanded its distribution footprint in Western Canada through an extended agreement with its long-standing partner Nors. The updated arrangement broadens Nors’ exclusive representation from British Columbia and Yukon to include Alberta, Saskatchewan, and the Northwest Territories, significantly increasing access to Metso’s equipment and services across the region.

The expansion is aimed at strengthening customer support by improving local availability of crushing and screening equipment, as well as spare and wear parts. It also enhances service responsiveness, allowing customers in Western Canada to benefit from closer proximity to technical expertise and aftersales support.

Metso and Nors have built a collaborative relationship over the years, centered on shared values and a strong focus on delivering high-quality service. By extending the partnership geographically, both companies are positioning themselves to better meet growing demand in the aggregates sector while supporting long-term regional growth.

Steve Cianci highlighted that the expanded cooperation aligns with Metso’s strategy of strengthening its distribution network to ensure consistent delivery of high-performance equipment and aftermarket services. He emphasized that the partnership will help improve the overall customer experience while supporting sustainable business development across Western Canada.

From Nors’ perspective, the expanded role reflects its commitment to deepening relationships with original equipment manufacturers and investing in key markets. Sudhanshu Singh noted that the move reinforces the company’s long-term growth ambitions while ensuring continuity, proximity, and high-quality support for customers throughout the expanded territory.

The strengthened partnership underscores a joint focus on enhancing service capabilities and delivering reliable solutions to customers in the aggregates industry, further solidifying both companies’ presence in the Canadian market.
