She will succeed Klaus Rehkugler, who will assume the position of Head of Product Management for Mercedes‑Benz Cars in the newly created area. This shift in leadership follows a strategic reshuffling aimed at driving the brand’s continued growth and innovation across its various business segments.

Sagree’s career with Mercedes-Benz spans over a decade, beginning in 2008 when she took on the role of Head of Operations at Daimler Fleet Management in South Africa. Since then, she has progressed through a series of influential leadership roles in Sales, Product Management, Aftersales, Parts Logistics, Customer Assistance, and Supply Chain & Distribution. Her early success in South Africa included overseeing the market’s transition to a direct sales model in 2017, which she managed effectively, ensuring a smooth and successful shift.

In 2018, she relocated to Stuttgart and took on the role of Head of Market Management for several critical markets, including Japan, Korea, Australia, Turkey, South Africa, the Middle East, and Egypt. Her leadership expanded in 2021 when she became CEO & President of Mercedes-Benz Malaysia and Head of Southeast Asia, where she was responsible for markets including Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia, along with overseeing ten general distributors. Since 2023, she has been serving as the Head of Marketing & Sales for Mercedes-Benz Cars Overseas, managing sales and marketing across 120 markets, including the General Distributor business. In addition to her role, she has served on various Board of Director seats for Mercedes-Benz MPCs across the region.

Sagree’s leadership in the Overseas region has been marked by her ability to navigate the complexities of diverse markets while spearheading strategy and transformation initiatives.
