Kyocera Fastening Solutions selects Logicor’s sustainable Lelystad facility to drive logistics growth in Europe

(IN BRIEF) Kyocera Fastening Solutions has chosen Flevopoort Business Park in Lelystad as its new logistics base, signing a long-term lease with Logicor for a 13,000 sqm unit within a recently completed 40,000 sqm distribution centre. The facility offers prime connectivity to major Dutch transport hubs including Schiphol Airport and the Port of Amsterdam, while the nearby CTU Flevokust terminal enhances multimodal accessibility. Equipped with 35 loading docks, a 12.2-metre clear height, and BREEAM Very Good certification, the energy-efficient building aligns with Kyocera’s sustainability goals. The lease highlights Flevopoort’s appeal as a top-tier logistics hotspot for international companies.

(PRESS RELEASE) AMSTERDAM, 8-Oct-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — Logicor, one of Europe’s leading owners and developers of logistics real estate, has signed a long-term lease agreement with Kyocera Fastening Solutions, marking a significant step in the manufacturer’s expansion strategy in the Netherlands. Under the agreement, Kyocera will occupy Unit 1 of the newly completed distribution centre on Poseidonweg in Lelystad, comprising approximately 13,000 square metres of high-specification logistics space.

Delivered earlier this year, the 40,000 sqm distribution complex at Flevopoort I Business Park is strategically situated with direct access to the A6 motorway and strong connectivity to Schiphol Airport, the Port of Amsterdam, and Utrecht. The nearby CTU Flevokust container terminal enhances multimodal transport options, making the location ideally suited for companies operating both nationally and internationally.

The lease agreement with Kyocera underscores the appeal and quality of Logicor’s development at Flevopoort. The site provides the manufacturer with both the scale and flexibility needed to support future growth and strengthen its distribution capabilities across the Benelux region.

Niels Kooiman, Associate Asset Management at Logicor, commented: “The decision by an international player like Kyocera to establish its logistics operations at Flevopoort demonstrates the strength of this location and the quality of our facilities. The distribution centre offers Kyocera the modern infrastructure and sustainability features necessary to achieve long-term operational efficiency.”

The facility is built to state-of-the-art logistics standards, featuring a clear height of 12.2 metres, super-flat floors, 35 loading docks, three overhead doors, and a floor load capacity of 50 kN/m². Developed with sustainability at its core, the building holds a BREEAM Very Good certification and an A+++ EPC energy rating. A smart energy management system, powered by solar panels and on-site battery storage, enables near energy self-sufficiency and reduces dependence on the Dutch electricity grid, supporting a more resilient and sustainable operation.

Logicor was advised by JLL, working in collegial cooperation with Savills on the transaction.
