The agreement covers a wide range of integrated services such as cleaning, catering, security, and patient support across three hospital sites. Set to begin in Q2 2026, the five-year contract—extendable by another five years—places a strong emphasis on enhancing patient experience through a hospitality-led approach. New initiatives include improved catering services, virtual concierge technology, and specialised staff training. The collaboration aims to create a model for high-quality healthcare service delivery while supporting operational efficiency and innovation within the NHS.

(PRESS RELEASE) SØBORG , 27-Apr-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — ISS A/S has expanded its long-standing collaboration with the Fulham Road Collaborative in the United Kingdom, reinforcing its role in delivering integrated services across key healthcare institutions. The Fulham Road Collaborative brings together Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, and the newly broadened agreement is valued at approximately DKK 100 million annually.

Under the renewed contract, ISS will provide a comprehensive suite of services across three major hospital sites. Among them is the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, which has received an ‘Outstanding’ rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC), as well as The Royal Marsden, widely recognised as a global leader in cancer care and research.

The scope of services covers a wide operational range, including cleaning, security, portering, patient and retail catering, waste management, reception services, private patient support, and linen and laundry operations. By integrating these services, ISS aims to support both clinical efficiency and overall patient experience across the facilities.

The agreement will run for an initial period of five years, with the possibility of a further five-year extension, and is scheduled to commence in the second quarter of 2026.

Scott Davies, CEO of ISS United Kingdom & Ireland, emphasised the strategic importance of the expanded partnership, highlighting a shared commitment to innovation and continuous improvement. He noted that the extended scope includes an enhanced focus on private patient services at The Royal Marsden, alongside the continued delivery of services at Chelsea and Westminster.

The collaboration introduces a hospitality-driven model designed to elevate patient care standards to a level comparable with premium hotel services. This includes upgraded dining options, the implementation of virtual concierge technology to improve patient interaction, the establishment of a chef academy, and specialised front-of-house training programmes.

Through this strengthened partnership, ISS and the Fulham Road Collaborative aim to set a new benchmark for healthcare service delivery, combining operational excellence with a strong emphasis on patient-centred care.
