Indra Demonstrates Integrated Multidomain Defense Capabilities and C-UAS Systems at International Air and Space Fair

(IN BRIEF) Indra will present its latest defense and aerospace technologies at the International Air and Space Fair (FIDAE) in Santiago de Chile, showcasing solutions across air defense, counter-drone systems, UAVs, satellites, and multidomain intelligence. A key highlight is the deployment of its C-UAS CROW system as part of the event’s official security, operated by the Chilean Air Force. The company will also demonstrate new integrations with air traffic systems, advanced radar technologies, and AI-driven platforms such as IndraMind. Additionally, Indra is expanding its presence in Latin America through the deployment of In-Service Support Centers aimed at strengthening local military autonomy and technical capabilities. The exhibition underscores Indra’s strategic role as a defense technology partner in the region.

(PRESS RELEASE) MADRID, 30-Mar-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — Indra is set to showcase a comprehensive portfolio of advanced defense and aerospace technologies at the International Air and Space Fair (FIDAE), taking place from April 7 to 12 in Santiago de Chile. The company will present solutions spanning air defense, counter-drone systems, unmanned aerial vehicles, satellite technologies, and multidomain intelligence platforms, while also highlighting its growing sustainment capabilities across Latin America.

A central feature of Indra’s participation will be the deployment of its C-UAS CROW counter-drone system, which will be integrated into the official security framework of the event and operated by the Chilean Air Force. The system, already proven in operational environments, will be demonstrated through guided visits to the security command post, offering insight into its advanced threat detection and neutralisation capabilities. The system has also recently been used during Chile’s presidential handover ceremony, underscoring its operational reliability.

Indra will additionally present new capabilities that integrate its counter-drone solutions with traditional air traffic management (ATM) and unmanned traffic management (UTM) systems. This integration enhances the ability to distinguish between authorised aerial activity and potential threats, improving situational awareness and operational precision. The C-UAS system is currently deployed by multiple armed forces, including the Spanish Air and Space Force.

The company is also advancing its regional footprint through the rollout of In-Service Support Centers (ISSC) across Latin America. These centres are designed to strengthen the autonomy of local armed forces by providing on-site engineering and maintenance capabilities, reducing reliance on external support and improving system availability. As part of this initiative, Indra will demonstrate its “sustainment 4.0” solutions, including remote technical support tools using holographic glasses that allow field personnel to receive expert guidance in real time.

In the air defense domain, Indra will display its Lanza family of 3D radars, including the LTR-20 and LTR-25 systems, widely recognised for their performance in airspace surveillance and control. The LTR-25 is currently deployed in NATO operations and used by several countries, including Spain, the United Kingdom, and Ukraine.

Visitors will also be introduced to the AirDef Air Command and Control system, designed to enable highly interoperable operations with next-generation aircraft through advanced tactical data links such as Link-16. An immersive demonstration environment will simulate real-world command centre conditions.

In the unmanned systems segment, Indra will present the ISTAR drone from its TARSIS family, offering modular capabilities adaptable to various mission requirements. The company will also showcase secure satellite communication terminals designed to ensure resilient connectivity in complex operational environments.

In the space domain, Indra will highlight its Vorax satellite, developed for low Earth orbit operations, featuring a flexible architecture aimed at supporting communications, Earth observation, and digital sovereignty initiatives.

Beyond air and space systems, Indra will present solutions for land-based operations, including mission systems for military vehicles, its Battlefield Management System (BMS), and onboard technologies such as armored vehicle periscopes and Nemus radar systems. The company will also demonstrate its multidomain intelligence capabilities through IndraMind, an advanced artificial intelligence platform designed to enhance decision-making, operational efficiency, and autonomy across defense environments.

Through its participation in FIDAE, Indra reinforces its position as a key technological partner for defense and security in Latin America, offering integrated solutions that span air, land, maritime, and space domains.
