(PRESS RELEASE) STOCKHOLM, 6-Feb-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — Husqvarna Group, a global leader in robotic lawnmowers, is expanding its boundary wire-free robotic lawnmower range with the introduction of 13 new models for the 2025 season, bringing the total number of these innovative models to 24. These models cater to both residential and professional customers, with capacities ranging from 600 sqm to more than 50,000 sqm. This strategic expansion reinforces Husqvarna’s leading position in the autonomous lawnmowing market, offering the largest selection of boundary wire-free mowers available today.

Enhanced Residential Offering

Husqvarna has enhanced its residential Automower NERA range with a systematic mowing feature, which increases the cutting area capacity by 50%. This upgrade also allows users to create visually appealing lawn designs, such as stripes or checkerboards. Importantly, this upgrade is available for existing products, improving the experience for current owners. Additionally, Husqvarna introduces Husqvarna Cloud, a new solution that eliminates the need for a reference station while ensuring wire-free mowing for added user convenience.

In a groundbreaking move, the new residential models from Gardena will be the first boundary wire-free models to be sold through retail channels, including DIY stores, garden centers, and e-commerce platforms. These models leverage GPS-guided technology, offering homeowners a convenient and efficient lawn care solution without the need for installing a reference station.

Expanded Professional Range

For professional landscaping, Husqvarna is introducing four new models designed to manage large green spaces such as sports fields, golf courses, and parks. These mowers deliver high-quality turf management with minimal effort. Future-proofed for advanced features like AI-driven night vision and obstacle avoidance, these mowers will set the stage for further innovations in professional landscaping solutions, with these enhancements expected in 2026.

A Commitment to Innovation

“We are committed to providing low-carbon, innovative lawn care solutions, and these new models are designed to meet the diverse needs of customers worldwide. This expansion reflects our ongoing effort to offer the largest and most advanced selection of user-friendly lawn care technology,” said Pavel Hajman, CEO of Husqvarna Group.
