Holcim Advances Green Growth Strategy with HM Factory Acquisition

(IN BRIEF) Holcim has acquired HM Factory, a precast concrete solutions provider that supplies Polish construction projects and exports to Scandinavian markets. HM Factory’s solutions use less material, reduce waste on the construction site, and are well-positioned to capitalize on growth in industrial and residential construction. The acquisition is in line with Holcim’s “Strategy 2025 – Accelerating Green Growth” and its goal to expand its Solutions & Products business, entering the most attractive construction segments.

(PRESS RELEASE) ZUG, 16-Mar-2023 — /EuropaWire/ — Holcim (SWX: HOLN), one of the world’s leading suppliers of cement and aggregates, concrete and related services, announces that it has acquired HM Factory, a precast concrete solutions provider with net sales of CHF 18 million. The company supplies Polish construction projects and exports to Scandinavian markets, providing a wide variety of precast solutions for walls, staircases, and balconies. HM Factory’s solutions use less material without compromising durability or quality and reduce waste on the construction site. The company is well-positioned to capitalize on growth in industrial and residential construction and aims to drive smart design by incorporating innovative trends such as 3D printing technology.
