Located within Holcim’s Global R&D center, the Hub features an immersive showroom demonstrating Holcim’s journey toward decarbonizing construction, including low-carbon materials, energy-efficient systems, and circular construction solutions. The Holcim Innovation Hub spans three floors and offers dedicated working spaces to accommodate forward-thinking start-ups and collaborative think tanks. These collaborative environments are intended to ignite innovation and spur the development of cutting-edge solutions that champion sustainability and environmental responsibility. Beyond its role as a co-creation lab, the Hub will also function as an urban dialogue platform, facilitating discussions on the future of sustainable cities and construction through interactive exhibits and events.

Situated within Holcim’s esteemed Global R&D center, the Innovation Hub brings together over 200 researchers who are deeply committed to pioneering sustainable building solutions. These experts encompass a diverse spectrum of fields, ranging from masonry and engineering to material science and artificial intelligence. The center’s research efforts span a wide array of critical areas, including the development of low-carbon formulations, circular construction practices, and energy-efficient green retrofitting for existing buildings.

The immersive showroom within the Innovation Hub will vividly illustrate Holcim’s journey toward decarbonizing construction across its entire lifecycle. Key features include:

  1. Low-carbon materials: Highlighting products such as ECOPact® concrete and ECOPlanet® cement.
  2. Energy-efficient roofing and insulation systems: Featuring Elevate boards and Airium® solutions.
