(PRESS RELEASE) STOCKHOLM, 13-Jan-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — Hexagon AB has announced a key leadership transition with the appointment of Enrique Patrickson as Chief Financial Officer, strengthening the company’s executive team as it moves into its next phase of growth. Patrickson is expected to assume the role no later than July 2026 and will succeed Norbert Hanke, who will continue to serve as interim CFO until the transition is completed. In his new position, Patrickson will report directly to Anders Svensson, President and CEO of Hexagon, and will join the company’s Executive Management Team.

Patrickson brings extensive international financial and strategic experience to Hexagon. He joins from Triton, one of Europe’s leading private equity firms, where he has served as Operating Partner since 2024. Before that, he held the role of CFO and Head of Strategy at Viaplay, the Swedish-listed streaming company. His earlier career includes senior financial leadership and corporate finance roles at Electrolux, Assa Abloy, and PwC, giving him a broad background across industrial, consumer, and professional services sectors. A Swedish national, Patrickson will be based in London.

Following Patrickson’s appointment, Norbert Hanke will transition into the role of Group Executive Vice President. In this capacity, Hanke will take responsibility for people and culture at the group level, while also leading selected ventures and strategic initiatives. He will continue to report to the President and CEO and remain part of Hexagon’s Executive Management Team, ensuring continuity and strategic alignment during and after the leadership transition.

Hexagon’s leadership highlights that Patrickson’s blend of financial, strategic, and operational expertise aligns well with the company’s business model, which spans industrial technology and software-driven solutions. The appointment reflects Hexagon’s focus on maintaining strong financial leadership while supporting long-term, profitable growth and organisational development.
