(PRESS RELEASE) STOCKHOLM, 7-Aug-2023 — /EuropaWire/ — Orange Jordan has chosen Ericsson, a leading technology company, to bolster its core network infrastructure by implementing Ericsson’s cloud-native dual-mode 5G Core and 5G Charging solutions. This upgrade aims to enhance end-user experiences and enable a seamless transition to a 5G Standalone (SA) network, enabling innovative use cases such as network slicing.

Ericsson’s dual-mode 5G Core, built on cloud-native, microservices-based technology, will optimize Orange Jordan’s total cost of ownership (TCO) and facilitate a smooth migration to 5G and 5G SA. The solution will empower Orange Jordan to introduce new functionalities swiftly, perform maintenance updates efficiently, and cater to diverse segments with agility.

In addition, Ericsson Charging will provide Orange Jordan with a modular, scalable, and open Online Charging System (OCS) that adheres to industry standards and protocols.
