(IN BRIEF) AUTO1 Group is set to add more than 2,000 positions across Germany, France, Italy, and Spain as it scales its used-car business. The company will expedite the launch of new drop-off branches for wirkaufendeinauto.de and related brands—having opened about 60 in Q1 2025—and increase throughput at its ten Autohero refurbishment centres. Both AUTO1.com and Autohero divisions will expand with roles in purchasing, after-sales, logistics, sales, administration, and technical services. With headquarters in Berlin, over 600 branch locations, ten production facilities, and 6,300 employees at the end of 2024, AUTO1 Group sold nearly 690,000 cars last year, up 18% year-over-year.

Under this expansion, AUTO1 Group will accelerate the rollout of its drop-off branches for wirkaufendeinauto.de and affiliated brands, following the opening of around 60 new locations in Q1 2025. Simultaneously, the company will boost production capacity at its ten Autohero refurbishment centres across Europe to keep pace with customer needs. Both the AUTO1.com and Autohero teams will also be enlarged, adding talent in purchasing, after-sales, logistics, and dealer support.
