(IN BRIEF) Barco has announced a new deal with AED Display at the ISE 2025 tradeshow, where the Belgium-based distributor has invested in 32 of Barco’s QDX projectors to expand its rental portfolio. The QDX projectors, featuring advanced 3-chip DLP technology, will allow AED to offer superior 4K visuals across various events and venues. The projectors integrate seamlessly with AED’s existing Barco equipment, enhancing operational efficiency. The addition of the QDX strengthens the long-standing partnership between the two companies, which has been successful since 2011. AED Display will also leverage Barco’s Insights Management Suite to optimize fleet management.

AED Display, a Belgium-based distributor specializing in professional AV solutions, has made a strategic investment in 32 of Barco’s QDX projectors. This acquisition enhances AED’s rental portfolio and reinforces its commitment to offering cutting-edge projection technology to its customers.

The QDX, Barco’s next-generation 3-chip DLP projection platform, delivers exceptional image quality, superior durability, and a roadmap for future advancements. These projectors are designed to provide top-tier 4K experiences across a variety of events and venues, combining advanced technology with brilliant visuals. The seamless integration of the QDX with AED Display’s existing Barco equipment, including rental frames, flight cases, and TLD+ lenses, ensures a smooth and cost-effective transition. This compatibility maximizes AED’s return on investment by leveraging previous Barco equipment, allowing the company to maintain an efficient and cohesive rental fleet.

Additionally, AED will utilize Barco’s Insights Management Suite, which will enhance fleet management and operational efficiency, helping AED optimize its workflow and streamline its operations.

Since becoming an official distributor of Barco’s projection and image processing products in 2011, AED Display has established a strong partnership with the company. With over 250 Barco 4K laser projectors in its rental fleet, AED is a seasoned user of Barco’s advanced technology, and the new QDX deal marks a continuation of this fruitful collaboration, further enhancing AED’s projection capabilities.
