STARK Group Expands Digital Carbon Monitoring Tools to Finland to Support Climate Documentation in Construction

(IN BRIEF) STARK Group has launched a new digital carbon monitoring tool in Finland, expanding its Nordic climate data capabilities following earlier rollouts in Denmark, Sweden, and Norway. Designed to support professional builders and contractors, the tool provides access to verified product-level climate data to help meet growing EU requirements for lifecycle assessments and climate documentation. By integrating carbon data into existing digital systems, STARK Group aims to simplify climate reporting and create a more consistent approach to climate data across its markets.

(PRESS RELEASE) FREDERIKSBERG, 27-Jan-2026 — /EuropaWire/ —STARK Group is expanding its digital carbon monitoring capabilities across the Nordic region with the launch of a new climate data tool in Finland, further strengthening its support for professional builders and contractors navigating increasingly complex climate documentation requirements. The rollout builds on earlier introductions of similar digital solutions in Denmark, Sweden, and Norway.

In recent years, STARK Group has focused on making product-level climate information more accessible across its markets, responding to growing demand from construction professionals. This demand is accelerating as European building regulations increasingly require detailed documentation of the climate impact of construction materials and projects.

Across the EU, lifecycle assessments are gradually becoming mandatory for new-build projects. These assessments require builders to document CO₂ emissions related to materials, construction processes, and a building’s energy consumption over a 50-year lifecycle. The newly launched digital solution in Finland is designed to help customers meet these requirements by providing easy access to verified climate data directly linked to purchased building materials.

The tool integrates carbon data into STARK Group’s existing digital systems, allowing customers to manage climate documentation more efficiently throughout a project’s lifecycle. While national climate requirements and digital platforms vary across the Nordic region, the expansion reflects STARK Group’s ambition to establish a more consistent and scalable approach to climate data across markets.

Building materials account for more than 95 percent of STARK Group’s total emissions. By embedding product-level climate information into digital tools, the company enables customers to better understand, compare, and document the climate impact of their material choices, supporting more informed decision-making at project level.

STARK Group continues to work toward implementing similar climate monitoring solutions across all of its markets, reinforcing its broader sustainability strategy and long-term net-zero ambitions.
