Alena Bauer, who has 15 years of international communications experience and previously led internal communications for the company, has been appointed Head of PR and Internal Communications. Reporting to Egemen Atış, Bauer will oversee the unified team, ensuring consistent and effective messaging across all channels. The reorganization is designed to optimize synergies, strengthen brand presence, and improve stakeholder engagement.

The integration aims to maximize synergies, streamline messaging, and ensure consistent communication across all channels.

Effective June 1, 2025, Alena Bauer has been appointed Head of PR and Internal Communications for Continental Tires EMEA, overseeing the newly combined team. Reporting directly to Egemen Atış, Head of Strategy, Analytics & Marketing, Bauer brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record in both internal and external communications.

Bauer’s career spans 15 years in communications roles for international organizations. She has served as Media Relations Manager at aviation company MTU Maintenance, Senior Manager of Public Relations and Internal Communications at RICOH Germany, and Head of Marketing at the German corporate newsroom Redaktionsnetzwerk Deutschland. Most recently, she led internal communications at Continental Tires EMEA, positioning her ideally to bridge the internal and external communications functions in her new role.

The restructured communications unit is expected to strengthen Continental Tires EMEA’s brand presence, foster stronger stakeholder engagement, and enhance the flow of information within the organization and to the public.
