(PRESS RELEASE) HELSINKI, 12-Sep-2024 — /EuropaWire/ — The Nordic Investment Bank (NIB) has signed an eight-year loan agreement with Bonnier Fastigheter AB to finance the refurbishment of five properties in Stockholm and Uppsala. The SEK 200 million (EUR 17.05 million) loan will fund energy efficiency improvements aimed at enhancing the appeal and sustainability of these buildings for tenants.

In Stockholm, projects include the Bonnierhuset, set for completion in November 2024, and Ersta Torn, expected by May 2025, while Förlagshuset was finished in September 2023. In Uppsala, the Gottsunda Centrum shopping mall is set to complete its energy-saving upgrades by 2030, with Hus Vega’s refurbishment finalized in July 2023.
