IPTO Joins ENCS to Strengthen Cybersecurity in Greece’s Power Grid

(PRESS RELEASE) THE HAGUE, 19-Nov-2024 — /EuropaWire/ — The European Network for Cyber Security (ENCS) has announced that Greece’s Independent Power Transmission Operator (IPTO) is now a full member of the network. This new collaboration allows IPTO to play an active role in shaping ENCS’s cybersecurity strategies, while gaining access to a wealth of knowledge, training, and research designed to fortify critical infrastructure across Europe.

As the operator responsible for maintaining Greece’s high-voltage power grid, IPTO ensures the stable and reliable transmission of electricity throughout the country.
