(IN BRIEF) HELLA Aftermarket is expanding its thermal management portfolio by around 1,500 items, bringing its total offering to approximately 2,400 parts for passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, and commercial vehicles. The update includes eleven new product categories such as fan clutches, oil coolers, coolant expansion tanks, and expansion valves, drawing on HELLA’s original equipment expertise and its strong electrical and electronic know-how in thermal management. The company plans to grow the range to about 6,000 parts by the end of 2027, while maintaining high quality through in-house testing, Easy2Fit installation support, and fast delivery options. HELLA is also strengthening technical support via HELLA Tech World and introducing specialised training programmes from 2026 to help workshops manage increasingly complex cooling systems.

(PRESS RELEASE) LIPPSTADT, 11-Feb-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — HELLA Aftermarket, the independent spare parts and workshop division of FORVIA HELLA, is significantly expanding its thermal management offering for the independent aftermarket with the addition of approximately 1,500 new items. Building on the initial launch of around 900 parts last year, the company now provides a total portfolio of about 2,400 components covering passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, and commercial vehicles. Alongside the expansion of existing product lines, HELLA is introducing eleven new categories, including fan clutches for engine cooling, oil coolers, coolant expansion tanks, and expansion valves.

Dr. Marcel Wiedmann, Head of Aftermarket at HELLA, said that the broadened range represents another important step in the company’s ambition to become a leading provider in thermal management once again. He emphasised that HELLA aims to deliver a high-quality, innovative, and readily available portfolio with strong market coverage, and plans to more than double its thermal management range to around 6,000 parts by the end of 2027.

The expanded product range benefits directly from HELLA’s extensive original equipment (OE) expertise in thermal management. The company is gradually transferring advanced technologies developed for the automotive industry into the independent aftermarket, including innovations such as the Coolant Control Hub (CCH). This technical foundation is further strengthened by HELLA’s comprehensive electrical and electronic portfolio in thermal management, which includes components such as coolant thermostats, temperature sensors, and air quality sensors. According to Wiedmann, this integrated approach provides workshops and wholesalers with deep system knowledge that anticipates future vehicle technologies.

Since entering the thermal management segment, HELLA has placed strong emphasis on quality and compliance with the highest standards. New products undergo testing in HELLA’s own laboratories in Germany and China, as well as in external facilities, enabling faster market readiness while maintaining the brand’s quality benchmark. The Easy2Fit concept ensures that all necessary accessory parts are included with each product, simplifying installation and reducing workshop downtime. In addition, HELLA supports flexible logistics with in-night, overnight, and next-day delivery options to ensure reliable availability and quick response times.

To further support the aftermarket, HELLA provides technical resources through HELLA Tech World, an online knowledge platform offering expert insights into modern cooling systems. Combined with diagnostic capabilities from Hella Gutmann Solutions, this enables more precise fault analysis and repair. From 2026 onwards, HELLA plans to roll out specialised training programmes tailored to workshops and wholesalers, helping professionals handle increasingly complex cooling systems and prepare for the evolving demands of modern thermal management technologies.
