Former French Minister for Gender Equality joins Sanofi’s DE&I advisory council

(IN BRIEF) Sanofi has appointed Elisabeth Moreno, former French Minister for Gender Equality, Diversity and Equal Opportunities, to its Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) Board for the next three years. The advisory council was created in 2022 to support Sanofi’s DE&I strategy by monitoring progress on its 2025 goals and advising on how to amplify its impact. Moreno’s corporate experience, which includes working for France Télécom, Dell, Lenovo, and as the Lead for the African continent organization at Hewlett Packard, brings a strong background to the DE&I Board. The advisory council also includes Caroline Casey and Dr. Rohini Anand, and representation from global Employee Resource Groups.

The advisory council was created in 2022 to accelerate Sanofi’s DE&I agenda globally and to support the company’s DE&I strategy by monitoring progress on its 2025 goals and advising on how to amplify its impact.

Moreno’s experience in various industries and international environments, including France Télécom (now Orange), Dell, Lenovo, and as Lead for the African continent organization at Hewlett Packard, brings a strong corporate background to the DE&I Board. She was also successful in introducing bills to protect victims of domestic violence, promote women’s economic emancipation, and protect victims of conversion therapies during her time as the Minister for Gender Equality, Diversity and Equal Opportunities in the French government.

The Sanofi DE&I Board, which comprises influential voices in the DE&I space, includes Caroline Casey, an award-winning social entrepreneur, and Dr. Rohini Anand, a DE&I pioneer and renowned thought-leader, in addition to Moreno. The advisory council also includes Sanofi CEO Paul Hudson, five Sanofi Executive Committee members, Sanofi’s Chief Diversity Officer, and representation from global Employee Resource Groups.
