Felix Haar Takes Charge of UniCredit Bank Austria’s Corporate Banking Business in Salzburg

(IN BRIEF) Effective from October 1, 2023, Felix Haar has assumed the role of Regional Director for Salzburg, responsible for UniCredit Bank Austria’s corporate banking business in the region. He succeeds Hartmut Staltner, who will transition to working on strategic projects to support regional management for Upper Austria and Salzburg. Felix Haar brings extensive experience in corporate banking, having previously served as a Corporate Relationship Manager in Salzburg and worked in risk management at UniCredit. His understanding of customer needs and the corporate banking landscape is expected to further strengthen UniCredit Bank Austria’s position in Salzburg. Dieter Hengl, UniCredit Bank Austria Management Board member, expressed gratitude to Hartmut Staltner for his contributions and wished him success in his new role. Felix Haar began his career with UniCredit Leasing in 2010, specializing in renewable energy, and returned to UniCredit Bank Austria as Corporate Relationship Manager for Salzburg in 2021 after working in Milan on risk management for UniCredit’s CEE subsidiaries.

Felix Haar started his career in UniCredit Leasing in 2010, where he gained experience as a renewable energy specialist. In 2018, he moved to UniCredit in Milan, where he spent three years in risk management for UniCredit’s CEE subsidiaries in project finance and real estate. In 2021, he returned to UniCredit Bank Austria as Corporate Relationship Manager for Salzburg.
