1. Ultrasound for Enhanced Safety: Bosch Engineering’s ultrasonic systems cover a wide detection range, offering a 360° panoramic view with up to twelve ultrasonic sensors. These sensors measure distances and provide object localization, allowing for greater safety and precision in agricultural automation. Safety certification according to ISO 25119 ensures compliance with functional safety requirements for applications like move-off control or emergency braking functions.
2. Off-Highway Premium Radar: In 2024, Bosch Engineering will launch its newly developed off-highway premium radar system, featuring a point cloud with ten times higher resolution than previous generations. This enhanced resolution enables precise object detection, especially for objects in close proximity. The radar system is designed to improve height measurement accuracy during travel over uneven terrain.
3. Multicamera System Retrofit: Bosch Engineering offers a visibility assistance system that generates a 360° view of the vehicle surroundings and displays it on a monitor in the cockpit. This retrofit solution includes four compact near-range cameras, a universal wiring harness, a 10-inch touch display, and camera mounts.
