Energy Hub for Generali workers’ physical, mental wellness

(PRESS RELEASE) MILAN, 30-Jan-2020 — /EuropaWire/ — Insurance company, Generali, revitalizes the energy of its employees by launching ‘Energy Hub’ project for them to promote a healthy and sustainable lifestyle.

The Energy Hub, located in the Generali Tower in Milan, Italy, is dedicated to stimulate the physical and mental energy of all employees. It is designed according to the Ministry of Health guidelines as part of a preventive health approach.

A team of medical professionals, within the hub, created a series of exercises and programs to stimulate people’s energy. Med-Ex, a healthcare company, is specialized in the promotion of primary prevention programs through healthy lifestyle. The healthcare company is in works with Generali in providing health programs for the hub. Med-ex also provides medical care and sports training for Ferrari racing team drivers.

And so, we’ve planned to implement workshops aimed at addressing issues such as diet, sleep, the ageing population, etc…”

The hub starts the innovative and collaborative spaces that characterize the Hadid-designed tower. It also includes a cafeteria centered on the concept of promoting a healthy balanced diet.

The Energy Hub also includes smart working project contributing to the flexibility in work-life balance among workers. Along with it is the Energy Check-up program which examines the employees with series of medical examination regarding their general state of health and cardiovascular needs. This will help them to apply the suitable program and therefore improved the lifestyle and personal and professional performance of its employees.

This project will further enhance the company’s role as a lifetime partner to its employees and customers, in line with Generali’s 2021 three-year strategy.

The launch of Energy Hub will also give the opportunity for Welion, Generali’s integrated welfare company, to utilize its distinctive skills. Welion provides companies health and well-being lifestyle choice and advance solutions for the corporate welfare.  

The Energy Hub also installed a Formula 1 simulator, which will recreate a professional driver’s experience on the track, stimulating awareness, motivation, decision-making in crucial situations.
