Backed by the InvestEU Skills and Education Portfolio Guarantee Product, this collaboration underscores a commitment to fostering equal opportunities in education while addressing Europe’s growing demand for digital and managerial skills.

The EIF is providing Quotanda with a capped guarantee of €10.2 million, enabling the mobilization of over €51 million in financing for more than 6,500 students. The initiative will allow students facing financial barriers to access education through tuition deferral plans and income-sharing agreements offered in partnership with six renowned educational institutions. These include IESE Business School and Esade Business & Law School in Spain, alongside European coding bootcamps Code For All (Portugal), Hack a Boss (Spain), Adalab (Spain), and Le Wagon, which operates in Spain, Portugal, and Germany.

“The partnership reflects our dedication to reskilling and upskilling as a foundation for Europe’s competitive edge,” remarked Marco Marrone, EIF Deputy Chief Investment Officer. “This initiative not only creates new opportunities for students to invest in their futures but also helps build a more inclusive and resilient educational framework.”

Quotanda’s Co-Founder, Lino Pujol-Soliano, emphasized the collaborative effort’s transformative potential. “Working alongside the EIF and these prestigious education providers, we aim to dismantle financial barriers and democratize access to quality education. This partnership is a powerful step toward empowering more than 6,500 learners with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in today’s evolving workforce.”

The program’s focus on providing financing options for in-demand skillsets aligns with Europe’s broader objectives to foster innovation and economic growth in a dynamic global landscape.

This partnership marks a significant milestone in shaping a future where access to education and career advancement opportunities is not determined by financial constraints.
