Since May 2023, Dr. Heymann has led operational improvements, automation projects and quality-assurance enhancements. The Supervisory Board highlighted his innovative leadership as central to NORMA Group’s strategy of evolving into a streamlined industrial supplier. Dr. Heymann brings deep experience from his previous tenure at the Dräxlmaier Group, where he managed global operations for vehicle interiors and applied lean-management techniques to boost efficiency in component and electric-vehicle battery-system manufacturing.

(PRESS RELEASE) MAINTAL, 17-Jun-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — NORMA Group and Dr. Daniel Heymann have mutually agreed to extend his tenure as Chief Operating Officer (COO) through May 2029. Originally appointed COO on May 1, 2023, Dr. Heymann’s current contract was set to expire in May 2026. The Supervisory Board commended his track record in operational excellence and innovative leadership as the rationale for the three-year extension.

Before joining NORMA Group, Dr. Heymann held several senior roles at the Dräxlmaier Group, most recently as Executive Vice President responsible for global vehicle-interiors operations. His prior roles included General Manager and COO of component manufacturing, where he also oversaw battery-management systems for electric vehicles. Throughout his career, he has repeatedly applied lean-management principles to evaluate and optimize production processes and capacity utilization.
