(PRESS RELEASE) MAINTAL, 4-Aug-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — NORMA Group today announced that, effective November 1, 2025, Birgit Seeger will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer and Chair of its Management Board. The Supervisory Board has appointed Seeger to lead the company’s next strategic phase, while current interim CEO Mark Wilhelms will return to the Supervisory Board on that date as planned.

Kerstin Müller-Kirchhofs, Chair of NORMA Group’s Supervisory Board, remarked, “Birgit Seeger brings deep industry insight and a strong record in steering complex transformations. Her strategic vision, operational acumen, and leadership capabilities make her the perfect choice to guide NORMA Group forward.”

Seeger joins NORMA Group from Robert Bosch GmbH, where she serves as Senior Vice President of the Comfort Actuators division, overseeing global electric-drive solutions for vehicle seats, sunroofs, and windows. She also sits on the Board of Directors of Konecranes Oyj, listed on Nasdaq Helsinki. Her earlier career includes senior roles at international consulting firms and leadership positions within the automotive supplier sector, after beginning as a project manager at Bosch post-graduation from the University of Tübingen with a degree in business administration.

“I am honored to lead NORMA Group through its next phase as a focused industrial supplier with two robust divisions—industrial applications and vehicle solutions,” Seeger said. “Together with my Management Board colleagues, I will drive this transformation, earn the trust of customers, employees, and investors, and unlock NORMA Group’s full potential for sustainable, profitable growth.”

Müller-Kirchhofs also extended gratitude to Mark Wilhelms: “We deeply appreciate Mark’s dedication as interim CEO. His stewardship ensured stability and propelled key initiatives such as the divestment of our Water Management unit. We look forward to his continued guidance on the Supervisory Board.”
