Atos Announces Leadership Transition: Jean Pierre Mustier Appointed Chairman

The Nominations and Governance Committee, with Elizabeth Tinkham as its Chair, conducted a rigorous selection process and recommended the appointment of Jean Pierre Mustier as non-executive Chairman and Laurent Collet-Billon as non-executive Vice-Chairman. Mustier has been serving as an independent director since May 2023 and brings extensive experience in leadership, corporate governance, finance, and the digital sector. Collet-Billon, also an independent director since May 2023, offers valuable expertise in digital, defense, and cybersecurity, given his background in the French military and previous role as CEO of the Directorate General of Armaments. Bertrand Meunier’s contributions as Chairman were acknowledged and appreciated by the Board.

In response, the Nominations and Governance Committee, led by Elizabeth Tinkham, the Lead Independent Director, conducted an extensive selection process with the support of a prominent executive search firm, evaluating both internal and external candidates.

During a meeting held on October 14, 2023, following the recommendation of the Nomination and Governance Committee, the Board unanimously approved the appointment of Jean Pierre Mustier as the new non-executive Chairman and Laurent Collet-Billon as the non-executive Vice-Chairman, effective immediately.

The Board of Directors extends its sincere appreciation to Bertrand Meunier for his years of dedicated service to Atos. His invaluable contributions as Chairman of the Board of Directors since 2019, marked by integrity and responsibility, have been instrumental to the company.

Jean Pierre Mustier has been an independent director on the Group’s Board of Directors since May 2023.
