AFRY Strengthens Healthcare Sector Position with New Hospital Project Management Agreement

(IN BRIEF) AFRY’s subsidiary Advansia has entered a new framework agreement with The South-Eastern Norway Regional Health Authority to provide project management services for major hospital developments, including the New Aker Hospital and New Rikshospitalet. Covering Norway’s largest healthcare region serving 3.1 million people, the agreement expands Advansia’s already strong track record following the recent opening of Drammen Hospital. The contract runs for two years with an optional four-year extension, forming part of an overall framework shared by four companies valued collectively at around 1.9 billion SEK.

(PRESS RELEASE) SOLNA, 5-Dec-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — AFRY, through its subsidiary Advansia, has secured a new framework agreement with The South-Eastern Norway Regional Health Authority, reinforcing its leading role in the planning and execution of major healthcare infrastructure projects in the region. Under the agreement, Advansia will deliver project management services for some of the country’s most significant hospital builds, including the New Aker Hospital and the New Rikshospitalet, alongside additional projects initiated by the authority or its associated health trusts.

Serving 3.1 million people across 11 counties—around 60% of Norway’s population—the South-Eastern Norway Regional Health Authority is the country’s largest provider of specialist healthcare services. The new contract strengthens Advansia’s position in Norway’s hospital development landscape, following its involvement in landmark projects such as the new Drammen Hospital, officially opened in October.

“We are pleased to continue our collaboration with the client,” said Jørn Dreyer, Area Manager at Advansia, part of AFRY. “Our holistic approach allows us to contribute throughout every phase—from early planning and concept development to execution, completion and into operational readiness.”

The framework agreement is valid for two years, with the option for an additional four-year extension. While AFRY has not disclosed its order value, the overall framework includes four awarded companies, with the combined estimated value of all agreements totalling approximately 1.9 billion SEK.
