Kudelski Group names Andrew Howard as CEO of its cybersecurity division

(PRESS RELEASE) CHESEAUX-SUR-LAUSANNE, Switzerland and PHOENIX, AZ, USA, 10-Jul-2019 — /EuropaWire/ — The Kudelski Group announces the appointment of Andrew Howard as CEO of its cybersecurity division, Kudelski Security. Howard is currently Kudelski Security’s Chief Technology Officer. He will succeed Rich Fennessy as CEO from August 1st, 2019. Andrew Howard will report to the Group’s Chief Executive Officer, André Kudelski.

Howard will be responsible of further expanding the division’s international market presence and drive innovation in Kudelski Security’s products and services to build on the Group’s unique approach to cyber-focused innovation.

Andrew Howard joined the Group in 2016, since then he has been in charge of Kudelski Security’s technical strategy, product development, engineering and research. Leading in particular the launch of the Internet of Things Security Center of Excellence, the delivery of the Group’s cyber business management platform, Secure Blueprint. He also led the recent launch of the company’s Blockchain Security Center.

Andrew Howard led an R&D laboratory focused on national defense challenges for the Georgia Tech Research Institute prior to Kudelski Security. He holds three degrees from the Georgia Institute of Technology including a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, a Master’s degree in Information Security, and an MBA in the Management of Technology.
