(PRESS RELEASE) NECKARSULM, 25-Nov-2024 — /EuropaWire/ — From 1 January 2025, Bechtle AG, Germany’s largest IT system house, will reorganize its Executive Board structure, integrating all sales channels within individual country markets. With subsidiaries in 14 European nations, the company aims to strengthen its multi-channel approach, enhance market penetration, and expand its international footprint. This new structure is designed to deliver a cohesive market strategy, streamline processes, and provide seamless, tailored support for customers across all sales channels.

As part of the reorganization, COO Michael Guschlbauer will oversee operations in Germany and Austria, as well as the Bechtle Group’s specialist units, including engineering, ERP, collaboration, and artificial intelligence services. Meanwhile, COO Konstantin Ebert will manage operations in the remaining European markets where Bechtle operates, such as France, Switzerland, and the UK. The restructuring reflects Bechtle’s commitment to a more unified approach to meet evolving customer demands and support its growth strategy.

This shift comes as Bechtle moves away from its previous division of IT System House & Managed Services and IT E-commerce into separate executive responsibilities. Instead, the company will adopt a country-specific management model, aligning its organizational structure with the realities of increasing internationalization and cross-channel customer requirements.

Konstantin Ebert, who joined the Executive Board in January 2024, explained:
“This change enhances cross-channel collaboration, accelerates processes, and equips us to better engage with our markets. It also supports our international expansion, including strategic acquisitions.”

Michael Guschlbauer, a 16-year Executive Board veteran, emphasized the customer benefits:
“A consistent multi-channel strategy reinforces our position as a trusted IT partner for B2B and B2G customers. It strengthens customer loyalty and advances our growth goals across European markets.”

Bechtle’s financial reporting for 2025 will initially maintain its current segmentation between IT System House & Managed Services and IT E-commerce. However, the company plans to transition to the new organizational structure for its 2025 Annual Report, ending a segmentation model that has been in place since its IPO in 2000.

The reorganization marks a significant step in Bechtle’s evolution, aligning its operational and strategic priorities with its ambition to remain a leader in the European IT market while driving efficiency, collaboration, and innovation.
