Thea, who currently leads Financial Services at FTI Consulting in Brussels, brings extensive experience in the financial services sector and European affairs. (PRESS RELEASE) BRUSSELS, 2-Oct-2024 — /EuropaWire/ — Insurance Europe has announced the appointment of Thea Utoft Høj Jensen as its new director general, set to take over from Michaela Koller, who has led the European insurance and reinsurance federation for 18 years. Thea, currently Senior Managing Director and Head of Financial Services at FTI Consulting in Brussels, will officially step into the role on November 4, 2024. She brings nearly two decades of expertise in the financial services sector, including experience in European affairs and government work with Denmark.
