(PRESS RELEASE) HEIDENHEIM, 28-Mar-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — In March 2025, Voith Paper announced the appointment of Andreas Batzer as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and a member of the management board. Reporting directly to President & CEO Andreas Endters, Batzer is tasked with steering the company’s financial strategy while optimizing internal processes to support future growth and sustainability. He succeeds Ralf Sorg, who previously served as CFO and now continues his contributions as President Projects since July 2024.

Andreas Batzer brings a wealth of international experience from various senior finance roles across the globe. Before joining Voith Paper, he was the Senior Vice President and CFO of the Voith Turbo Division within the Rail & Marine segment, where his leadership was pivotal in restructuring the Mobility division. His career with Voith began in 2005, and he has since held multiple senior finance positions, including roles as CFO at Voith Composites and Voith Materials. Notably, Batzer also contributed significantly to establishing a joint venture with CRRC in Beijing during his tenure as CFO of CRRC Voith Transmission Technology (Beijing) Co. Ltd.
