(PRESS RELEASE) DUBLIN, 3-Dec-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — Trinity College Dublin has entered into a new collaboration with The Eddie Jordan Foundation (EJF) to enhance opportunities for students involved in Formula Trinity, the university’s student-led, high-performance motorsport engineering team. The partnership aligns Trinity’s commitment to inclusive, hands-on education with EJF’s mission to empower promising young engineers and future industry leaders.

Under this agreement, EJF will support Formula Trinity across four strategic areas identified in the team’s long-term development roadmap: skills advancement, access to industry networks, event collaboration, and career pathway development. This includes providing training and certification opportunities, mentorship from motorsport and engineering professionals, support for community and outreach events, and assistance in securing the critical resources needed for competition.

Formula Trinity’s Team Advisor, Cleavon Castelino, said the partnership represents a step-change in the team’s growth and competitive trajectory. “This partnership fundamentally strengthens our ability to grow as a team and compete at the highest level,” he said. “The Eddie Jordan Foundation’s involvement gives our students access to expertise and opportunities that are genuinely transformative. We are incredibly grateful and excited to begin this journey together.”

Keith O’Loughlin, Founder and Trustee of The Eddie Jordan Foundation, spoke highly of the students’ capabilities after spending time with the team. “Their intelligence, teamwork, and dedication to engineering excellence are remarkable,” he said. “Supporting them is about far more than funding — it’s about helping motivated young people carve out their path toward careers in motorsport, engineering, and innovation. We are proud to play a role in opening these doors and supporting the next generation of Irish technical leaders.”

This collaboration brings together the strengths of both organisations, offering Trinity students a powerful platform to deepen their engineering expertise, build industry connections, and gain experience in real-world motorsport environments.
