Brussels,  23-10-2012 — /europawire.eu/ — The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice President of the Commission issued the following statement today:

“I have met today in Brussels Prime Minister Ivica Dačić and Prime Minister Hashim Thaçi, with a view to continuing the EU-facilitated dialogue. Today’s meetings follow up on my recent meetings in ‘ew York with President ‘ikolić and PM Thaçi.

After meeting them separately, I chaired a joint meeting in my office which was conducted in a good and constructive atmosphere. We agreed to continue the dialogue for the normalisation of relations between the two sides and both committed to working together. We will meet again soon.

I firmly believe that the dialogue is in the interest of both sides. Its objective is to improve the lives of people and help solve problems and, in so doing, bring Serbia and Kosovo closer to the European Union.”
