Skanska Secures $85 Million Contract for Ambulatory Care Cancer Center in New Jersey

(IN BRIEF) Skanska has entered into an additional contract with RWJBarnabas Health to construct a new ambulatory care cancer center in Livingston, New Jersey, USA. The contract, valued at USD 85 million (approximately SEK 900 million), will be part of Skanska’s US order bookings for the third quarter of 2023. The five-story, 13,000-square-meter facility, situated on the Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center campus, will offer outpatient cancer treatment services. Additionally, a parking garage will be built as part of the project. Construction commenced in September 2022, and the project is expected to be completed by late 2025.

(PRESS RELEASE) STOCKHOLM, 5-Oct-2023 — /EuropaWire/ —Skanska has signed an additional contract with RWJBarnabas Health to build an ambulatory care cancer center in Livingston, New Jersey, USA. The additional contract is worth USD 85M, about SEK 900M, which will be included in the US order bookings for the third quarter 2023.

The five-story building on the Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center campus, totaling 13,000 square meters will provide outpatient cancer treatment. A parking garage will also be constructed.

Construction started in September 2022, and completion is scheduled towards the end of 2025.
