Skanska Norway’s new Business Unit President brings 20 years of industry experience

(IN BRIEF) Skanska has announced the appointment of Stein Ivar Hellestad as the new Business Unit President for Skanska Norway. Hellestad, who has been with Skanska Norway for over 13 years and has served as the Chief Financial Officer for the company, takes over the position effective immediately. According to Skanska Group, Hellestad is a values-driven leader who has played a decisive role in the company’s development and performance over the years. In his new role, Hellestad will report to Ståle Rød, Executive Vice President, Skanska Group. The company has already begun the process of finding a successor for Hellestad’s former position as CFO for Skanska Norway.

Stein Ivar Hellestad currently holds the position as Chief Financial Officer for Skanska Norway and since January 1st, 2023, also acting BUP Skanska Norway.
