Lyudmila Zalimskaya appointed TENEX’s new General Director

6-5-2013 — /europawire.eu/ — According to a decision by JSC Atomenergoprom, the sole shareholder of JSC TENEX, of 25 April 2013, Lyudmila Zalimskaya has been elected as TENEX’s new General Director, after serving as Acting General Director since October 2012. Ms Zalimskaya takes office as General Director of JSC TENEX on 30 April 2013.

Born in Moscow on 31 July 1956, Lyudmila Mikhailovna Zalimskaya graduated in 1978 from Moscow State Institute for International Relations under the Soviet Union’s Foreign Affairs Ministry as Economist in International Economic Relations. In 2009, she gained a top-level Master’s Degree in Business Administration from State University of Management. In addition to her native Russian, Ms Zalimskaya speaks English, German, and Dutch.

Over the 35 years of working in the Company, Lyudmila Zalimskaya has advanced all the way up the career ladder – from a rank-and-file employee to the position of chief executive officer. Ms Zalimskaya has been awarded Medal of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland 2nd class, Badge Long-Service Employee of the Nuclear Energy Industry, Badge Academician I.V. Kurchatov 2nd and 3rd class, Anniversary Medal 65 Years of Russia’s Nuclear Industry, Badge of Merit for the Nuclear Industry 1st class.
