Debidien, currently Chief Information Officer and Executive Vice President at KPN, will replace Margot Scheltema, who is stepping down after the end of her term on September 1, 2023. Debidien’s appointment adds technology, digital, and security expertise to the Supervisory Board and brings extensive knowledge and experience in the financial sector. Scheltema’s departure marks the end of her eight-year commitment to DNB, during which she played integral roles in enhancing supervision, financial committees, and cost control.

Debidien will succeed Margot Scheltema, who will conclude her tenure on September 1, 2023.

Artie Debidien, the Chief Information Officer and Executive Vice President at KPN, brings a wealth of expertise to her new role. Her multifaceted background includes serving as the Chair of the Supervisory Board of Competens and being a member of the Supervisory Board of NVM Holding. Debidien’s commitment to effective governance and strategic oversight is evident in her past role as a member of the Supervisory Board of Worldline payment service provider Global Collect Services BV, a position she relinquished upon her appointment to DNB’s Supervisory Board.

Margot Scheltema’s departure after completing two terms of service marks the end of an era.
