CACEIS Bank Secures MiCA Authorization to Offer EU-Wide Crypto-Asset Services

(IN BRIEF) CACEIS Bank has been authorized by France’s ACPR, upon the AMF’s advice, to provide custody, administration, order reception and transmission, and transfer services for crypto-assets under MiCA Article 60. This approval activates EU-wide passporting, allowing CACEIS to roll out these services across the entire European Union. Laurent Majchrzak, Group Head of Digital Assets, emphasized that this authorization reinforces CACEIS’ position as a trusted partner, offering clients integrated portfolios that include both conventional financial products and crypto-assets.

(PRESS RELEASE) MONTROUGE, 30-Jun-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — CACEIS Bank has received authorization from the ACPR—France’s banking and insurance regulator—based on the recommendation of the AMF, France’s financial markets authority, to offer crypto-asset services under Article 60 of MiCA (Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation).

This milestone advances the group’s digital asset strategy by enabling CACEIS to extend the following services to external clients:

  • Custody and administration of crypto-assets
  • Reception and transmission of orders (RTO)
  • Transfers of crypto-assets

Thanks to European passporting rights, CACEIS Bank can now deliver these crypto-asset services across all European Union member states.

Laurent Majchrzak, Group Head of Digital Assets at CACEIS, commented: “Securing this MiCA authorization cements our role as a reliable third-party provider in the evolving financial landscape. Our clients will benefit from a unified portfolio management experience, seamlessly combining traditional financial instruments with crypto-assets—an enhancement that further elevates CACEIS’ value proposition.”
