She succeeds Ben De Schryver, who is departing the company to explore new opportunities. In her new role, Chen will be responsible for overseeing Barry Callebaut’s operations across the United States, Mexico, and Canada, while reporting directly to CEO Peter Feld. She will also join the company’s Extended Leadership Team.

Chen, an American national, brings a wealth of experience in both B2B and B2C sectors, with a proven track record of driving growth and enhancing customer service. Prior to joining Barry Callebaut, she led the Global Healthcare division at Ecolab, a leader in sustainability focused on water, hygiene, and infection prevention. Her career also includes over 20 years at Colgate-Palmolive, where she held various leadership positions across multiple regions.

Peter Feld, Group CEO, praised Chen’s appointment, highlighting her expertise in the North American market, digitalization, and sustainability.
