Forenom Enters New Growth Phase as Bravedo Acquires Leading Serviced Apartment Provider

(IN BRIEF) CapMan Buyout has agreed to sell Forenom Group Oy to a consortium led by Bravedo, marking the final exit of the CapMan Buyout X fund. Since CapMan Buyout’s investment in 2016, Forenom has tripled its sales, expanded across the Nordic region and Germany, and grown into a leading provider of serviced apartments with more than 9,000 units and over 500 employees. Under Bravedo’s ownership, Forenom is expected to further scale its operations and strengthen its role in delivering workforce accommodation solutions across Northern Europe.

(PRESS RELEASE) HELSINKI, 9-Jan-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — CapMan Buyout has agreed to sell Forenom Group Oy, a leading provider of serviced apartments in the Nordic region, to a consortium led by Bravedo. The transaction marks the final exit of the CapMan Buyout X fund, which was established in 2012.

CapMan Buyout initially invested in Forenom in 2016 with the aim of accelerating growth and supporting the company’s expansion beyond Finland. During CapMan Buyout’s ownership, Forenom significantly scaled its operations, tripling its sales and transforming from a Finland-focused business into a pan-Nordic market leader. Today, the company operates a portfolio of more than 9,000 serviced apartments, aparthotels, and hostel rooms across all major Nordic cities as well as Germany, supported by over 30 local offices and a workforce of more than 500 employees.

Anders Björkell, Partner at CapMan Buyout, thanked Forenom’s management team and employees for their collaboration over the years and expressed confidence in the company’s future success under new ownership. He noted that the exit represents a strong conclusion to CapMan Buyout X’s investment strategy.

Forenom’s Chief Executive Officer, Jussi Saarinen, said the company sought a partner in 2016 to help execute its growth strategy and credited CapMan Buyout with playing a key role in building Forenom into a leading Nordic player. Looking ahead, Saarinen said Bravedo’s ownership provides new opportunities to enhance services, scale operations, and respond to increasing customer demand. He highlighted the growing importance of supporting workforce mobility and said the partnership will enable Forenom to develop even more effective accommodation solutions for its clients.

From the buyer’s perspective, Heikki Raulo, Head of Investments & Acquisitions at Bravedo, said Forenom has emerged as a clear leader in the Northern European serviced apartments market despite a challenging operating environment in recent years. He described Forenom as a strong platform for continued investment and growth, noting that accommodation-related services are a core component of Bravedo’s strategy to deliver innovative workforce solutions across the Nordic countries.

The acquisition positions Forenom to enter its next phase of development with a new owner focused on expanding people and technology-driven services, while bringing CapMan Buyout X fund’s investment cycle to a close.
