STARK reinforces commitment to Danish football and gender equality through expanded Danish Football Association collaboration

(IN BRIEF) STARK Group, through its Danish subsidiary STARK Denmark, has expanded its partnership with the Danish Football Association to include both the women’s and men’s national football teams. The move builds on a collaboration that began in 2018 with the men’s team and reinforces STARK’s commitment to equality, community, and engagement in sport. CEO Britta Korre Stenholt highlighted the unifying power of football and the company’s pride in supporting both national teams. The initiative aligns with STARK Group’s broader sponsorship strategy, which includes partnerships with sports organisations across Europe such as the Swedish national ice hockey team, the Finnish Olympic Committee, the English Western Football League, and Germany’s Iserlohn Roosters.

(PRESS RELEASE) FREDERIKSBERG, 8-Oct-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — STARK Group’s Danish subsidiary, STARK Denmark, has broadened its collaboration with the Danish Football Association (DBU) to now include both the women’s and men’s national football teams. This expanded partnership marks a continuation of STARK’s long-standing commitment to Danish football, highlighting its dedication to fostering equality, community, and shared experiences through sport.

Since first partnering with the DBU men’s national team in 2018, STARK has played an active role in supporting Danish football at the highest level. By extending this partnership to encompass the women’s team, STARK aims to enhance visibility, recognition, and opportunities for female athletes, while promoting inclusion across all levels of the game. The expansion also provides new avenues to engage customers, employees, and partners through shared experiences that transcend individual differences and celebrate unity through sport.

Britta Korre Stenholt, CEO of STARK Denmark, emphasised the company’s enthusiasm for the renewed agreement: “Football unites people and creates communities that reach far beyond the pitch. We are proud to extend and expand our partnership with DBU and look forward to creating even more memorable experiences with both the women’s and men’s national teams.”

The partnership underscores STARK Group’s broader strategy of using sports sponsorships to strengthen relationships with customers and local communities while advancing equality and opportunity. Beyond football, the Group’s sponsorship portfolio spans multiple countries and disciplines — including the Swedish national ice hockey team, the Finnish Olympic Committee, the English Western Football League, and the German ice hockey team Iserlohn Roosters — reflecting its commitment to building stronger communities through sport and teamwork.
