TÜV Rheinland Launches Major Shenzhen Hub to Drive Innovation and Quality Standards in South China
(IN BRIEF) TÜV Rheinland has opened its Greater Bay Area (Shenzhen) Operation Hub, marking its largest recent investment in South China and underscoring its dedication to the region’s tech and industrial sectors. The 15,000-square-meter hub, situated in Guangming Yesun Synthetic Biology Industrial Park, offers advanced testing and certification services for critical industries like new energy, 5G, healthcare, and IT. The facility is intended to enhance regional innovation and quality standards, drawing on TÜV Rheinland’s global expertise to support businesses in meeting international benchmarks and driving sustainable growth.
(PRESS RELEASE) COLOGNE, 4-Nov-2024 — /EuropaWire/ — TÜV Rheinland has inaugurated its new Greater Bay Area (Shenzhen) Operation Hub, marking a major step in strengthening its support for China’s advancing technology and industrial sectors. This hub, the largest investment TÜV Rheinland has made in South China in five years, is designed to drive innovation and quality assurance, reinforcing the company’s commitment to the region’s economic and technological growth. Key figures attending the event included Dr. Michael Fübi, Chairman of the Executive Board, joined by the organization’s senior management, local officials, and representatives from various partners.
Dr. Fübi emphasized the strategic importance of the Shenzhen hub, noting that it will act as a cornerstone for regional innovation and collaboration. “Our goal,” Fübi said, “is to provide our clients with the technical expertise needed to excel globally, helping businesses throughout the Greater Bay Area meet international standards and pioneer future advancements.”
Located within the Guangming Yesun Synthetic Biology Industrial Park and spanning 15,000 square meters, the hub is equipped with advanced facilities to offer testing and certification services for sectors such as new energy batteries, IT, 5G, healthcare, and more.
