(IN BRIEF) Telia has introduced its new IoT Platform, developed with Wapice’s IoT-TICKET technology, to help Nordic businesses scale Internet of Things solutions with AI-driven insights and secure connectivity. The company is also launching Telia IoT Monitoring, a plug-and-play service bundling wireless devices, connectivity, and platform access with specialist support. Already managing over 28,000 connected devices, the platform has been adopted by customers in both public and private sectors. Early deployments include LF Skåne Hyresfastigheter, which is using IoT Monitoring to optimize operations in 16 residential buildings and improve tenant experience while driving sustainability gains. According to Telia, the new offerings are designed to address a key industry challenge: helping enterprises move beyond pilot projects to fully scaled IoT deployments.

(PRESS RELEASE) STOCKHOLM, 2-Oct-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — Telia has unveiled a new enterprise-focused platform designed to help businesses deploy, manage, and scale Internet of Things (IoT) solutions across the Nordic region. The Telia IoT Platform enables companies to gather, visualize, and act on data from connected devices, while incorporating built-in AI tools for advanced analysis and optimization. Alongside the launch, Telia is introducing the platform’s first add-on service, Telia IoT Monitoring.

The platform, powered by Finnish developer Wapice’s IoT-TICKET technology, features an intuitive interface and leverages Telia’s secure and sustainable mobile networks to ensure reliable connectivity. Already in operation, the Telia IoT Platform manages more than 28,000 IoT devices for customers in both private and public sectors, many of which have migrated from previous Telia solutions.

Telia IoT Monitoring, the first add-on service, offers businesses a complete plug-and-play package. It combines wireless IoT devices, mobile connectivity, and access to the IoT Platform with expert support from Telia’s IoT specialists, helping organizations accelerate digital transformation while ensuring ease of use.

Björn Hansen, Head of Advanced Mobility B2B at Telia Sweden, explained: “Across industries, there is a strong demand to digitalize operations and maintenance processes, supporting both efficiency and sustainability. Yet many organizations find it difficult to scale IoT beyond initial pilots. With our new offerings, we are making it easier to connect, secure, and integrate data, enabling customers to advance automation and data-driven decision-making.”

Ahead of the public launch, Telia IoT Monitoring has already been adopted by several major customers in Sweden, including LF Skåne Hyresfastigheter, a residential property company. By using the service to improve indoor climate management and optimize operations across 16 buildings and 625 apartments, LF Skåne Hyresfastigheter has improved tenant comfort while achieving measurable environmental benefits.

With these new solutions, Telia aims to provide enterprises with the digital infrastructure necessary to overcome scaling challenges, harness IoT data effectively, and deliver sustainable business value.
