Strategic acquisition of Deutsche Post Group in Australia to create one of the country’s largest logistics companies

(PRESS RELEASE) MELBOURNE, 21-Jun-2022 — /EuropaWire/ — Deutsche Post DHL Group (ETR: DPW), a German multinational package delivery and supply chain management company, has announced that an acquisition deal of its subsidiary in Australia, DHL Supply Chain Australia, will create one of the country’s largest logistics companies. The deal is for 100% of the Glen Cameron Group, an Australian logistics company specialising in road freight and contract logistics that operates a fleet of 1,000 trucks and trailers, and has some 820 employees around Australia.

The strategic combination of the Glen Cameron Group with DHL Supply Chain will strengthen DHL’s position in the evolving Australian road freight market and create one of the largest logistics companies in the country with combined revenue of over AU$1 billion (670 Mio EUR).
