Logicor Enhances Azambuja Logistics Hub in Portugal with 10,000 sqm Expansion and Sustainable Features

(IN BRIEF) Logicor has completed a 10,000 sqm expansion of its logistics platform in Azambuja, increasing the facility’s total size to 85,000 sqm GLA. Located in Greater Lisbon, near the A1 highway, the expanded site now includes office space and a large warehouse with 18 dock doors. The project targets BREEAM Very Good certification and will feature a 105kW photovoltaic plant to promote sustainability and reduce environmental impact. Logicor’s expansion in Portugal further strengthens its presence in key logistics regions, with a portfolio exceeding 900,000 sqm across Lisbon, Oporto, and other major hubs.

(PRESS RELEASE) LISBON, 20-Jan-2024 — /EuropaWire/ — Logicor, a prominent player in European logistics real estate, has successfully completed a 10,000 sqm expansion at its logistics platform in Azambuja, located in one of Greater Lisbon’s prime logistics parks. This expansion increases the total area of the facility to 85,000 sqm of Gross Lettable Area (GLA).

The expanded platform, strategically situated near the A1 highway and just 40 km north of Lisbon, now includes more than 500 sqm of office space and over 10,000 sqm of warehousing, featuring 18 dock doors for efficient operations.

In line with its commitment to sustainability, the facility is aiming for a BREEAM Very Good certification. Furthermore, a 105kW photovoltaic plant will be installed to help reduce energy consumption and minimize environmental impact.
