(PRESS RELEASE) LONDON, 4-Feb-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — Logicor has kicked off the year with a major milestone, completing a 40,000 m² state-of-the-art logistics facility at the Flevopoort business park in Lelystad. The new development, which includes three modern logistics units, has been designed with an emphasis on flexibility, energy efficiency, and sustainability, offering businesses a highly adaptable space to meet their operational needs.

The facility’s prime location ensures excellent connectivity, with easy access to the A6 highway and Lelystad Airport, as well as fast transport links to major logistics hubs such as Amsterdam and Almere. Public transportation options are also convenient, with a bus station less than 1 km away and a train station just over 3 km from the site. This strategic location is particularly appealing as Lelystad continues to emerge as a key logistics destination in the Netherlands, offering ample space for expansion while providing a viable alternative to more saturated markets.

Sustainability remains a top priority for this development. The logistics center has been built to BREEAM Very Good and A+++ EPC standards, incorporating an innovative semi off-grid energy solution. A solar-powered energy storage system, integrated with a smart energy management system, ensures a reliable and sustainable power supply while helping to alleviate grid congestion issues in the Netherlands.

Additional sustainability features include motion-sensing dimmable LED lighting, EV charging stations for both logistics vehicles and passenger cars, advanced building climate control systems to optimize energy usage, and green outdoor areas with extensive landscaping. The logistics center has been designed to cater to modern business needs, offering a range of features including a 12.2-meter clear height, a 50 kN/m² floor load capacity, 35 loading docks, three overhead doors, and a certified ESFR sprinkler system. The site also provides premium office spaces with floor-to-ceiling windows, ample parking, and dedicated access for passenger vehicles. The three units, each with warehouse space, office areas, and mezzanine levels, offer a mix of 13,000 m² and 14,000 m² spaces, providing flexibility for businesses of various sizes and sectors.
