(PRESS RELEASE) ARNSTORF, 1-Feb-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — At BAU25 in Munich, the Lindner Group proudly presented a wide array of sustainable innovations and process improvements under the theme “Future of Construction: Circular. Collaborative. Digital.” The company’s commitment to enhancing sustainability in the construction industry was evident through a variety of advanced interior fit-out products, building envelopes, and digital solutions designed to improve construction site management.

Lindner’s dedication to environmental responsibility was recognized with multiple prestigious awards at the event:

The Institut für Bauen und Umwelt (IBU e.V.) awarded Lindner two Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs). The first EPD recognized the environmental advantages of their ReUse LOOP raised floor system, made from reprocessed calcium sulphate. Additionally, the company received a re-verification EPD for their LIGNA system, made from engineered wood panels. Ralph Peckmann, Business Unit Manager for Floors, emphasized, “Receiving the first EPD for our ReUse LOOP floor panel is a significant milestone. It not only confirms the environmental benefits of the product but also positions Lindner as a pioneer in promoting circular economy principles within the construction sector.”

The NORIT-TE 20 Therm underfloor heating system, constructed from gypsum fiber, was also honored with the SHI product passport from the Sentinel Holding Institute, certifying it as a pollutant-free construction solution.

A standout product, the Lindner Life Stereo_GCC glass partition wall, was awarded the AIT Innovation Award for Architecture + Building Technology. This product features profiles made from 75% natural fibers and 25% high-performance polymers derived from recycled plastics. Oliver Wieselhuber, Business Unit Manager for Partitions, stated, “Our approach goes beyond just material circularity. We focus on market availability, building physics, material health, and economic feasibility. Successful implementation requires collaboration among material manufacturers, product makers, and the support of clients, architects, and planners willing to adopt new, sustainable solutions.”

During the event, Lindner hosted in-depth tours for architects, planners, and developers, showcasing the company’s comprehensive product range and innovative services. A key highlight was Lindner’s mission to implement “circular construction today,” a goal furthered by their development of rental and take-back business models and their Design & Build services for tenant fit-out projects. Visitors were offered expert guidance and insights into sustainable construction practices and how these can be integrated into current projects.
