The first all-electric team bus for FC Bayern is expected to be delivered by MAN in the 2025/26 season. The project, launched in the presence of Bavarian Minister President Dr. Markus Söder, will create a state-of-the-art charging facility capable of servicing up to 500 electric vehicles daily.

This initiative marks a pivotal step in phasing out diesel vehicles in the region, with plans for the first all-electric team bus for FC Bayern by the 2025/26 season. The charging park, strategically located at the Munich North motorway junction, will utilize the Allianz Arena’s robust electricity grid, which is powered entirely by green energy, to support the growing demand for sustainable transport solutions.

Alexander Vlaskamp, CEO of MAN Truck & Bus, emphasized the project’s role in achieving climate goals, highlighting the necessity of a comprehensive charging infrastructure to support the transition to electric fleets.
