Driving Sustainability: Vitesco Technologies Teams Up with DHL for Logistics Transformation

(IN BRIEF) Vitesco Technologies announces a strategic partnership with DHL Supply Chain as its Lead Logistics Partner (LLP) in Europe, aiming to enhance sustainability, resilience, and efficiency in its logistics operations. Starting March 2024, DHL will centrally manage logistics flows for twelve European locations of Vitesco Technologies from its LLP Center of Excellence in Warsaw, Poland, covering approximately 100,000 transport movements. By leveraging DHL’s expertise, the collaboration aims to optimize freight volumes, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and enhance supply chain reliability, contributing to Vitesco Technologies’ goal of achieving CO2-neutral operations by 2040. With a focus on standardization and orchestration of logistics processes, the partnership seeks to drive further efficiencies and sustainability in the automotive industry’s supply chains.

Key to this is a new strategic partnership with DHL Supply Chain as a Lead Logistics Partner (LLP). As of March 2024, the logistics flows of Vitesco Technologies’ twelve European locations will be centrally managed by DHL through the LLP Center of Excellence in Warsaw, Poland. This corresponds to around 100,000 transport movements within the supply chain to the plants as well as from the plants to the customers – and thus accounts for about a third of Vitesco Technologies’ total freight volume.
